I watched this young eagle eating something on the frozen Vermillion River. After looking more closely it appears to be another bird!

- I was born and raised in Northern Ontario. My wife and I live in a rural area close to Espanola. For as long as I remember I have been fascinated with nature. Seven or eight years ago I took up wildlife photography and it has since become a passion of mine. I am a Solar contractor and design and install renewable energy systems. Mario-- I saw that same bird (on the north side of the bridge on 17?), but I think you must've been a few hours ahead of me.
Nice shots of the finches! I wish there were more birds in Espanola...
