Wow! What a great winter for owls. Spotted this great gray not far from our home. Thankfully was able to get a few in-flight shots. What an awesome bird.

- I was born and raised in Northern Ontario. My wife and I live in a rural area close to Espanola. For as long as I remember I have been fascinated with nature. Seven or eight years ago I took up wildlife photography and it has since become a passion of mine. I am a Solar contractor and design and install renewable energy systems. Amazing pictures of your owels. I have been trying to keep my eyes peeled on trees and so far no luck with owels. I have heard that they are very hard to spot and find. Youre lucky. I hope you will someday share some of your secrets with me haha.
